I'm an "athlete", a term coined by the Silicon Valley many years ago. The analogy is that an athlete who is fast and strong can be easily taught a sport specific skills and out-compete everyone else. So in business, you want people who can excel in any position with their strong professional backgrounds.

I think what we need in the future is someone who could decipher data, translate it to actionable strategy, then deliver the strategy by building excellent digital products.
